I Need a Big Snowstorm!

Where is winter?  I know some of you will think me insane to complain, but I really want a big snow storm.  Sure, we've had some cold days but that doesn't feel the same to me as a big snow.

A big snow covers all of Winter's stark, harsh lines.  Snow embellishes the landscape and buildings like calligraphy embellishes mere words.

Until Mother Earth decides to grace us with snowfall that sticks, I'll just have to reminisce about the past winters.

Our Backyard Several Winters Ago

Beautiful isn't it?

    1. Yes, ripped off is a good way to put it! I really love all seasons (although fall and winter are more comfortable to me than spring and summer). I have been aware for some time that I need the change of seasons in order to feel that all is right with the world. I also love heavy thunderstorms, they seem cleansing somehow.

You want snow...lemme send you some! Seriously. We woke up to an additional 5" this morning, bringing our total over the last few days to over 14"...in our normally rainy/muddy Oregon environment, it's been quite the adventure, let me tell you! :-)
