A big snow covers all of Winter's stark, harsh lines. Snow embellishes the landscape and buildings like calligraphy embellishes mere words.
Until Mother Earth decides to grace us with snowfall that sticks, I'll just have to reminisce about the past winters.
Our Backyard Several Winters Ago |
Beautiful isn't it?
i am right there with you! i feel so ripped off this winter. we have had a few dustings but nothing more. i live for winter and i want SNOW!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYes, ripped off is a good way to put it! I really love all seasons (although fall and winter are more comfortable to me than spring and summer). I have been aware for some time that I need the change of seasons in order to feel that all is right with the world. I also love heavy thunderstorms, they seem cleansing somehow.
DeleteNo I don't want any!
ReplyDeleteI will gladly take whatever you want to send my way, LOL! Thanks, Sunnybrook!
DeleteThanks for your comment on my blog, Poppy! I'm happy to be introduced to your blog! :-)
ReplyDeleteYou want snow...lemme send you some! Seriously. We woke up to an additional 5" this morning, bringing our total over the last few days to over 14"...in our normally rainy/muddy Oregon environment, it's been quite the adventure, let me tell you! :-)
Danni,
DeleteThanks for the offer! I'll take you up on it! Sounds like you've been bombarded!
