I never mixed them I would just put vaseline on my lips and then put sugar in my palm and pat it on top. I used sugar instead of salt, and...Just tried this! I used sugar instead of salt, and it worked awesome as a lip scrub! I left it on for 10 minutes to plump and the sugar definitely made it sweet and easy to leave on (Much more pleasant that salt) <br /><br />The plumping effect was decent. Dont get me wrong, you are not going to look like Angelina Jolie afterwards, but definitely a fun scrub that made my lips feel so smooth and a great pick-me-up!
